The award by organized by the African Quality Education Institute, which usually package award of excellence for organizations who have distinguished themselves in their field.
This year's award however had successfully made its debut a fourth time in the history. West African quality education awards is a body saddled with the responsibility for monitoring effectively current educational trends, conducting researches, evaluating standards and ratings with the view of rewarding quality learning in West Africa.
Dr. Stanley Ohenhen, the chief executive officer of this body, in his keynote address charged all school administrators, academic instructors in all levels and educational policy makers to introduce leadership and entrepreneurial skills in various segments of academic curriculum, so as to ensure that the quality of students which they consistently turn out, will not just be the one with a high intelligent quotient but devoid of emotional intelligence, upon which leadership abilities and managerial acumen are replicated.
He also in a manner denoting great confidence reassured the audience at the events that every awardees slated in the honour list, undeniably deserves great accolades, giving the fact that the organising body had before this time carried out a detailed survey and audit unveiling those rare traits and qualities distinguishing them from the whole.
A few amongst various schools of learning that were honoured at the nite of awards includes, Caleb College, Lagooz schools, lnglewood Montessori ,Fortune business schools, Titsall global Schools Abuja, Osun State Polithecnic lree, First Islamic English Educational Foundation, Citadel business schools and Smart learning; an educational outfit setting smart edges digitally for leaders.
